2. Privacy policy (GDPR)
RaYSun SRL is the controller of the data collected on this website, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR — Regulation EU 2016/679).
What data, and why?
When you fill in the assessment form or use our simulator, we collect the data you provide: name, organisation, email address, phone number, and the information and files you choose to share (consumption profile, invoices…). This data is used exclusively to handle your request: performing your assessment and getting back to you. Legal basis: the performance of pre-contractual measures taken at your request (art. 6.1.b GDPR).
We also keep the origin of your visit (source, campaign) to understand how you found us. No data is used for advertising purposes.
Where does your data go?
It is stored in our customer relationship management tool (Odoo), hosted in the European Union. It is never sold or passed on to third parties for commercial purposes.
For how long?
Prospect data is kept for a maximum of 3 years after our last contact, then deleted. Data of our communities' members is kept for the duration of the contractual relationship and the applicable legal periods.
Members' metering data
As part of the management of sharing operations, members' quarter-hourly consumption data is used only to calculate the allocation of shared energy and the operation's billing. It is never sold or shared with third parties.
Your rights
You have at any time the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data. To exercise it, write to us at hi@raysun.solar — we reply within one month. You can also lodge a complaint with theBelgian Data Protection Authority (Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels).
3. Cookies
This website uses no advertising cookies or third-party trackers — which is why you don't see a consent banner. Only a technical local storage in your browser remembers, where applicable, the origin of your visit (campaign parameters) to help us know how you found us if you contact us. You can erase it at any time by clearing your browser's browsing data.
