Brasserie du Bocq
The Bocq Brasserie has launched its sharing activity with the help of RaYSun and Soltis. Thanks to a solar energy sharing system between two buildings with different consumptions, the brewery therefore reduces its costs and its energy dependence.
In the future, staff and neighbors of the brewery will potentially be able to become consumer-members of this energy community.
Fico Energy
RaYSun supported FICO in creating FICO Energy, a structure dedicated to investing in renewable infrastructure (solar panels and charging stations) to develop its own energy communities. Two sites in Aalst and Haaltert were equipped with 964 photovoltaic panels, representing a capacity of 421 kWp. The electricity produced is used by several tenants (BMW – MINI Meerschman, ZTE Corporation, PPP, Zone de secours Sud‑Est) as well as by FICO’s headquarters, contributing to the sustainability of its real-estate portfolio and ensuring access to green, local energy.
Saint-Lambert
RaYSun implemented an energy-sharing system in a Brussels apartment building, allowing tenants to directly consume the green electricity produced on-site. This simple solution, quick to install and without grid fees in Brussels, optimizes energy costs while facilitating access to local, sustainable energy.
Don Bosco
Thanks to a photovoltaic installation carried out with Soltis, Don Bosco School now produces its own green electricity. Through the Energilia Brussels sharing operation, surplus energy is shared with other members such as the Quartier Libre cooperative. Up to 203 MWh of green electricity are thus redistributed each year, reinforcing energy solidarity in Brussels.
SAK (Switzerland)
RaYSun conducted an exploratory study on energy communities for the Swiss grid operator SAK, in partnership with Urbio. The project, completed in April, allowed analysis of the potential for energy sharing in three municipalities in anticipation of new legislation coming into effect in 2026. This mission marks RaYSun’s first active presence in the Swiss decentralized energy market.
